MY UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE
Unlike a lot of my competitors, I’m not just a writer. Sure, I write resumes, cover letters, thank you letters, LinkedIn profiles and more. Yet at its core, I'm first and foremost an accomplished career marketing expert – because a resume (and everything associated with your job search) is marketing. So before any writing begins, there must be a realistic marketing strategy because if the telephone isn’t ringing requesting interviews, that’s unsuccessful marketing, which is not why you hired me! I am also a great storyteller. I capture the readers attention within the first 10 to 30 seconds so the reader feels too guilty not to call you for an interview!
MY FOUR-STEP WRITING PROCESS AND HOW WE'LL WORK TOGETHER
Step 1 – Setting up Free Telephone Consultation I work by telephone appointment. You can pick a specific day and time best for you based on my calendar.

I am based in San Diego. If you are currently working and would like to speak before or after business hours, or on weekends, I am happy to accommodate. Just let me know. In advance of the consultation, if you have an existing resume and/or LinkedIn profile, please email to me. If you don’t, that’s ok, too. You may also email me some links to jobs that are of interest to you.
Step 2 – Discussion During Free Telephone Consultation
During the consultation, I’ll be able to learn more about goals and you can ask me any questions you have. Once we’ve determined the services you need, I’ll provide you with a price quote and a timetable for completion. My rates are considered moderate compared to my competitors. This quote will include all editing and telephone and email communications until you are satisfied with the final documents. Most orders can be completed with three to five business days, or less. If you require RUSH service, please let me know asap.
Step 3 – Getting to work: Strategy and Content Collection Call
Prior to writing, we’ll schedule a telephone appointment and have a strategy session. This is a vitally important step that separates me from a lot of other writers (many of whom are not career coaches).
You will find many writers don't offer telephone service whatsoever and instead have you "fill out a form" to collect content. This is counter-productive. Aren't they supposed to be working for you? I offer personalized service. I’ll collect the content I need to achieve your goals and write the initial draft.
Step 4 – Review
We’ll discuss the initial draft within 24 to 48 hours of our strategy call. In virtually all cases, most clients have minor edits during this call, so the remainder of the service can be completed without scheduling another phone call. However, if more calls are required, that's no problem.
